NYC’s LeFrak family, along with Miami’s own family dynasty, The Soffers, have officially launched LeFrak’s first project ever outside of New York, the $4 billion, 184-acre master-planned community, Solé Mia. Leasing has already launched at The Shoreline, the first two amenity-rich residential towers with residents moving in this month. Two 17-story towers are adjacent to a seven-acre swimmable crystal lagoon, the centerpiece of Solé Mia.
Laguna Solé is South Florida’s first man-made Crystal Lagoon. Being the size of 21 Olympic-sized pools, the lagoon features sandy beaches and a waterfront location for residents to swim, paddleboard and kayak or float on luxury loungers. Laguna Solé also has several kid-friendly features such as gently sloping beaches and a shallow area nestled next to a palm-fringed island with plenty of floats to play on.
Solé Mia is the largest remaining undeveloped site in South Florida east of Biscayne Blvd. The mixed-use development is being built in several phases and will ultimately contain more than 4,000 residential units and 1.5 million square feet of commercial space. The Shoreline is the first residential development at Solé Mia.
Designed by Miami-based Arquitectonica and Robert M. Swedroe Architects, The Shoreline offers studio, one, two, and three-bedroom rentals priced from $1,700 to $3,700. It consists of two 17-story towers that feature open floor plans, floor-to-ceiling windows, spacious bathrooms and expansive balconies with mesmerizing views of Laguna Solé, Oleta River State Park, Biscayne Bay, the Atlantic Ocean and the Miami skyline.
Residents of The Shoreline have an access to the building’s extensive amenity and service programs: an elevated pool deck and spa, an outdoor dining and grilling lounge, resort-style private cabanas and an air-conditioned poolside clubroom. The Shoreline also features a state-of-the-art fitness center with Peloton bikes, a weight-training room, a yoga studio with Fitness on Demand, a 24/7 virtual workout-program platform.
Additional building amenities include two multi-purpose resident lounges, a pet-grooming area, a game room, 24/7 concierge services, a business center, parcel lockers with 24/7 access, electric-car charging stations, a bike-repair room and storage, as well as ample resident and guest covered parking. Private storage spaces are also available. There are also extensive outdoor fitness trails for residents to enjoy.
Sole Mia is centrally located in North Miami, between Biscayne Boulevard and Oleta River State Park, Florida’s largest urban park, providing Solé Mia residents with 15 miles of off-road bicycling trails, and kayaking on the Oleta River. It is also located next to Florida International University’s Biscayne Bay Campus. The City of North Miami will benefit as Solé Mia becomes a catalyst for further growth and development.
