McLaren Automotive delivered a one-off example of the limited-volume, sold-out McLaren 765LT that showcases a number of exclusive personalization options carried out by McLaren Special Operations (MSO).
The bodywork is finished in a color-shifting MSO Cerberus Pearl paintwork, which includes blue, purple, gold, and orange colors. The front splitter, rear bumper, side skirts, as well as the mirror casings and air intakes, received gloss carbon fiber treatment. A fully-functional MSO Defined roof scoop, 10-spoke Ultra-Lightweight wheels in gloss black finish, and McLaren Orange brake calipers make this McLaren 765LT even more unique.
The focused cabin of the McLaren 765LT features satin carbon fiber finishes, as well as bespoke door inserts, speaker surrounds, and seatbelts all in McLaren Orange. The track-oriented interior is further complemented with the addition of the MSO Defined titanium harness bar and six-point harness.
McLaren Special Operations offers a complete tailoring service for any McLaren model and keeps expanding under tiers of personalization that include MSO Defined, covering series options, MSO Bespoke offering near-limitless level of personalization, MSO Limited creating limited-run and special editions of the latest McLaren vehicles and MSO Heritage, responsible for maintenance of the brand’s legacy models such as the McLaren F1.
The McLaren 765LT is the latest in a line of ‘Longtail’ McLarens and the most dynamically advanced and engaging LT model ever from McLaren Automotive. It is the most powerful and responsive road-legal McLaren LT to date. The car’s 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 McLaren M840T engine delivers peak power of 765PS (755bhp) at 7,500rpm and maximum torque of 800Nm (590lb ft) at 5,500rpm, which together create impressive acceleration figures of 2.8 seconds from 0-100 km/h and 7.2 seconds from 0-200 km/h.
An 80kg (DIN) weight reduction over the McLaren 720Sfurther contributes to the extremely immersive driving experience that the 765LT delivers.
