Two NYC staples – InterContinental New York Barclay and the chic New York City candle brand Thompson Ferrier – have come together to outfit one of Park Avenue’s most majestic suites. Located in the heart of midtown Manhattan, InterContinental New York Barclay mixes classic New York glamour with modern luxury and style.
Starting this month and right in time for the holiday (and shopping) season, the hotel’s elegant Harold S. Vanderbilt Penthouse Suite is garnished with beautiful hand-made candles and goods from Thompson Ferrier. From fun silver elephants and elegant crocodiles to ruby red Buddha heads, the candles add a playful bit to the sophisticated and stately suite.
The cherry on the cake – guests who book the suite are invited to shop the space and take home their favorite Thompson Ferrier piece from the suite’s collection, complimentary. Additional Thompson Ferrier pieces can be purchased via an in-suite QR code where guests can look through the site and have items shipped home.
The Harold S. Vanderbilt Penthouse at InterContinental New York Barclay is one of New York City’s most stately suites, boasting sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline. The 2,700 sq. ft. suite includes an elegant indoor living space with floor-to-ceiling windows and three guestrooms and an expansive 1,3000 sq. ft. private terrace with breathtaking views overlooking the Chrysler Building.
The outdoor space features plush seating and dining areas, accompanied by a decorative fountain and even a weather-proof television.
