American actress, animal rights activist and former fashion model, Nathalie Kay Tippi Hedren, appears in the new Gucci timepieces and jewelry campaign. Celebrated for her work with director Alfred Hitchcock, herded starred in two of his films, the suspense-thriller The Birds in 1963, for which she won a Golden Globe, and the psychological drama Marnie in 1964.
Gucci timepieces and jewelry campaign is directed by Colin Dodgson and tells the story of a fortuneteller, Tippi Hedren, visited by girls and guys wearing richly decorated pieces from the new collections. Set among the gilded gold chairs, silk table cloths, crystals and candles, the campaign portrays the actress practicing the arts of palmistry and crystal ball reading. The camera focuses on ornate pieces from the collections including the Gucci Ouroboros, GG Running and Le Marché des Merveilles fine jewelry lines as well as the G-Frame and G-Timeless new watches.
The feline head continues to be a defining motif of the House. Le Marché des Merveilles ring is crafted from 18k yellow gold and is enriched with diamond-set eyes and a studded band. The matching torchon cuff bracelet features feline heads on each end, garnished with white diamonds in the eyes. The jewel is designed with a hollow core to eliminate the need for a clasp closure by giving the bracelet incredible flexibility while guaranteeing a durable construction.
G-Timeless watch is powered by the automatic movement, that allows the natural motion from the wearer automatically wind the watch.
