British manufacturer Vertu collaborates with renowned artist Wissam Shawkat to honor the Ilamic festival of Ramadan with exclusive Vertu Ramadan Signature Touch model
Vertu Ramadan smartphone features the iconic calligraphy designs by UAE-based artist Wissam Shawkat. The new collection celebrates the start of Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, which is observed as a period of fasting to commemorate the first revelation of the Quran to Muhammad according to Islamic belief. Vert Ramadan is available for purchase in Vertu boutiques across the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Lebanon.

Vert aficionados can personalize the phone further with monogramming of initial, a favorite saying or a meaningful poem. The retailing of the lavish phone is accompanied by a special travelling exhibition of limited-edition prints by Shawkat. The limited edition collection is available in selected Vertu boutiques from June 1.
