On Thursday, February 13th, nearly 50 guests gathered in the residents’ lounge of Two Waterline Square to celebrate its striking design by highly-celebrated hospitality design firm Yabu Pushelberg. James Linsley, President of GID Development Group, and Glenn Pushelberg, Principal of Yabu Pushelberg, engaged in a lively Q&A discussion moderated by Corcoran’s Jodi Stasse. Pushelberg spoke about design choices in the lounge, sharing insight into the firm’s inspiration behind Two Waterline Square’s residences and shared amenity spaces.
Following the Q&A, guests enjoyed dessert, champagne and signature mimosas catered by Cipriani, which will be opening its first-ever large-scale food market and full-service restaurant inside Two Waterline Square later this year.
Developed by GID Development Group, Waterline Square is an iconic collection of luxury residential buildings on one of the last remaining waterfront development sites on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. The development has been designed by Rafael Viñoly Architects, Richard Meier & Partners Architects, and Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, with interiors by Champalimaud Design, Yabu Pushelberg and Groves & Co.
Offering a variety of residential lifestyle opportunities, Waterline Square encompasses three residential towers with condominium homes and rental residences and a 100,000-square-foot amenity center designed by Rockwell Group. The Waterline Square lifestyle is complete with a lush 2.6-acre park and a dynamic hospitality program with concepts by Cipriani and Empellón. Leasing for the development’s rental residences is currently underway, and closings on the condominiums are slated to begin this year.
